JONATHAN ROGERS
Jonathan Rogers left his animation career to pursue other modes of expression, mainly drawing, painting and writing. Born 1937, Toronto, Canada - Canadian citizen, he has worked and lived in the US since 1981. During his career he also lived in England, Israel, Manila and Seoul. He created and produced animated inserts for Sesame St. as well as worked with Disney Studios and MARVEL on Casper, G.I. Joe and My Little Pony until 1992. Billboard Magazine awarded him "Best Computer Animated Music Video" for Atomic Dog. (George Clinton & the Funkadelics) After years of working he figured out that there was only one medium that encompassed the demands of his creative energies in all modes combined, so he came back to animation. He's happy to be back developing new shows with his partner, the incomparable Jimmy Cross.
